Handling difficult employees? Here's what you must do before they destroy your business.

These laws are generally more employee-friendly (and therefore anti-company) than the federal ones. The layoff will feel less personal to those workers losing their jobs, and it right away gives security to those who remain. You can do this through escalating discipline, which is set up to try to help improve the jobholder's productivity.
